Straight hair benefits more than any other type when it is shiny and in superb condition.

It is worth investing some time and money into finding out what products suit you the best. There are also different electrical straighteners on the market, again some are better than others . Another way to get straight hair is to go to a salon and have a straightener solution put on it. This is basically a reverse perm. The same chemicals are used that you would use with a perm and the hair is combed straight. The problem with this method is that it is a chemical treatment and as we all know this often leads to a reduction in overall shine and condition  
A further option would be to purchase a product that is a curl relaxer. You can find these at most high-tech salons. The curl relaxer is usually in the form of a gel. You need to apply this directly after washing your hair while it is still wet. A small amount will do fine. Distribute evenly through damp hair and proceed to dry.
